Sometimes I wonder about what my life would be like here in Portland if my parents didnt cut me off at graduation.
Probably a lot more social and a lot more ‘hip.’ I probably would get in trouble for the massive amount of shopping.

But fuck it. All the kids I see here trying to live this ‘hip’ art life on their parents credit cards got me so bummed on Portland. DIY more like DIWYPM. Do it with your parents money.

Its also nice when my mom calls to ask if I need a little extra cash this month for clothes, food, art supplies, whatever and I can turn her down and say, auw thank mom but I actually can cover that.

Making the skrilla the way I am supposed to at 23 instead of asking parents for cash.
Especially saving money with someone else and making it so you can have a life together.

Woah.
Decibel has crept up on me. I cant believe in three days I will be in Seattle with all the bunnies having all night dance parties. YAY! Im working most of the day shifts which means I can go to the night events to dance my little feetsies to the oonz oonz.

I quit smoking cigarettes and so did Devin. I feel like people who dont smoke have no idea what an accomplishment this is. . . and rightfully so. They dont know, but seriously its been two weeks since Ive had a butt and I feel great. Doesnt mean I dont have cravings but I can breathe easier and weve saved so much money. $6 a day on ciggs gets to be a lot of money. The true test will be when we go to Seattle and in an environment where everyone smokes. I think we can do it!

I am really behind on all my art stuff. Since working at the art store and the salon Ive been so tired that the days I come home the last thing I want to do is go down to the basement and stand some more and work. The salon even requested I work more days, so after I get home from Seattle Ill be working 6 days a week for about a month and all that money is probably going to go to getting my sleeve with Devin. Plus a secret present that Pete and I are getting for Devin.

The music festivals in Portland are so awesome. Saw Karl Blau and Mount Erie this last weekend. Such a good show. Not to mention Cocorosie came, but Devin got emergency dental stuff on the day they came and I had to miss it, but whatever. Id much rather cuddle in bed with a drugged up Stinks than go to a show and worry about if he has enough mashed potatoes to eat.

We got Movie Madness memberships. Its like Video Station but with a museum of cool movie memorabilia. Weve been renting so many movies. Too many for my liking. Got Pete into the Lady Vengence series.

Pete and Devin make sweet music in the basement.
Alls going well. Portland is growing on me more and more everyday.

God I miss slide film. I have 6 rolls of undeveloped shot 120 film. Some from last year. I hope they havent gone bad. Anyways I got the diana f+ with the flash. MMMMM YAY!
